Kicking off the new Lachhman.IO!

I am super excited to start publishing my very own blog. This has been a long time coming. There are multiple great sources to get your ideas out there such as Blogger or Medium. I am privileged that my job has a blogging component and decided to turn my place holder page into a blog!

Way back in the Day

The first time I wrote a blog was back in the day in BlogSpot aka Blogger in 2006 and 2007. Both were for classes at Georgia Tech. The first was an early day social media and digital writing class. The later was a mobile design class, we designed an SMS to BlogSpot API so you can blog directly from your phone. Twitter had us beat though around the same time.

Not so far back in the Day

I got lachhman.io in 2016 mainly to get my own dot IO email address and can set up Google Enterprise for push mail. I really wanted ravi.io but someone grabbed the domain before me. Finally in 2019 decided to start writing content.

Why is there a big Shaved Ice?

I really enjoy shaved ice. In the last few years, I would take annual trips to Maui to crush shaved ice. Blue raspberry with snow / condensed milk is my poison. Wanting to share my love of shaved ice is partially the reason for this blog also!

What is to come?

Since there is a little backlog in content, I might post “Latagram” quality posts. I have years of traveling, eating, and “softwaring” behind me and love to share. Thanks so much for visiting as I go on this blogging journey!
